Welcome to the resource site for the Just Duet Consortium: After Dark.  The goal of this project is to provide performing duos with three new works, as well as to allow the partnering composers to write for numerous musicians.

 

Our three composers will each compose a piece for clarinet and percussion related to the theme of "After Dark".  Participating performers will be granted exclusive rights to perform these three pieces within a set timeframe, offering the opportunity for duos to program and premiere the new works individually or as a set.

  

The "dark" nature of the compositions will be varied and interpretive.  Whether its night phantoms or mature themes,  anything goes.  Please take some time to learn about the current performers involved in the consortium, and the three composers that are being commissioned.
